Black Hills Spruce
(local custom cut trees)

The Black Hills Spruce Christmas Tree is known for its blue-green color and many layers with short, stiff, blue greens needles. It is darker than a white spruce and denser.

Scotch Pine

The Scotch Pine Christmas Tree (a traditional favorite) is known for its strong branches and excellent needle retention. It holds up well on retail lots in warm climates and has medium length needles.

Ponderosa Pine

Ponderosa Pines are easily recognized by their tall, straight, thick trunks. The bark usually smells like vanilla or butterscotch. The needles of the Ponderosa are 4-8 inches long, thick, and flexible with three to a bundle, and droop gracefully from their branches.

White Pine

The White Pine Christmas Tree has beautiful soft, long needles and excellent needle retention to create a warm and inviting feel. The White Pine Christmas Tree is known for its elegance.

Balsam Fir

The Balsam Fir Christmas Tree has dark green and fragrant foliage. Soft needles and a straight stem make this tree highly desirable. Its strong branches can hold even your heaviest ornaments.

Grand Fir

The Michigan Grand Fir Christmas Tree’s glossy, dark green, thick foliage, combined with its inviting fragrance helps evoke the Christmas spirit. The Grand Fir’s needles are long and fairly spread out.

Fraser Fir

The Fraser Fir Christmas Tree’s dark green needles, frosty underlying glow, and pleasing fragrance make this a popular Christmas tree. It has upright branching, straight branches and excellent needle retention for little maintenance.

Nobel Fir

The needles are shaped like hockey sticks, and sweep away from the twig uniformly, giving them a combed appearance. There are distinct tiers of branches with open spaces, so you can showcase ornaments without the tree looking like it has bare spots.

Nordmann Fir

The Nordmann Fir is favored for its attractive foliage. The needles are not sharp, and they do not readily drop when the tree dries out. The Nordmann Fir lacks fragrance, so it is a great choice for people who are allergic or sensitive to the typical Christmas tree aroma.
