Athletic Program

Let’s Get Fit at The Club for Boys!

The Athletic Department focuses on teaching our boys the importance of staying healthy through fun and engaging activities like basketball, football, wall ball, and other gym and physical fitness games. We also focus on teaching our boys about displaying fair play, honesty, sportsmanship, and respect for others and our Club equipment. The Club has special athletic activities for boys such as our Football League, Basketball League, and Walk Club.

Aims and Objectives of Our Youth Athletic Program:

Younger Boys Athletic Program: Ages 6 – 11
Older Boys Athletic Program: Ages 12 – 17

Basketball League

Since 1966, The Club for Boys Basketball League has provided boys 9- through 12-years-old with an opportunity to learn the basics of basketball and the responsibilities of belonging to a team. All members of the Club are also invited to participate in the league as coaches, referees, and scorekeepers. Games are held on Thursday evenings throughout February and March, with members’ families being invited to cheer on their boys.

Flag Football League

The Club for Boys Flag Football league runs September through November and allows boys that would like to learn more about the fundamentals of football the opportunity to participate as part of a team. Practices are held on Tuesdays and games are held on Thursdays throughout the season.
