The following Privacy Policy governs all pages hosted at theclubforboys.org, those hosted through our online donation area and Facebook as well as personal information submitted to The Club for Boys via other means.

Privacy of Information/Collection of Information

When you are on The Club for Boys’ website and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with the Club alone, unless stated otherwise or required by law. The Club may collect general information regarding online visitors, including IP address, browser and domain information, and may also monitor and track information such as visitor usage patterns of our website using standard site tracking software.

We are aware of and sensitive to the issue of unsolicited email and SMS messages (“spam”); therefore, the Club will never rent, trade or sell your email address or phone number.

Personally Identifiable Information

The Club for Boys collects personal information from website visitors and other supporters only when they make a donation online or offline, or otherwise participate in our online community. Our web server does not automatically recognize or collect personal information based on your email address or phone number. The Club provides you with the ability to unsubscribe to any email or phone list and to request deletion of any personal information maintained by the Club; the email address for this is [email protected].

The Club for Boys uses the information you submit voluntarily to us to send you electronic communications such as emails, SMS messages, and various printed publications or mail appeals, and to help administer and improve our website.

The Club for Boys does not exchange, rent, share, or sell our mailing list or phone numbers. The phone numbers we collect and the consent you provide will not be shared with 3rd party providers/affiliates nor for marketing purposes as it is needed.

The accuracy of your individual information is important to the Club. If you have a question about or change to your personal information related to a donation, please send an email to [email protected].

When you give The Club for Boys personal information, we take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely. The Club uses industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving sensitive visitor data (e.g., financial information) with our site. The Club never stores your credit card information for future use. The Club uses commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of any personal information on our systems, and to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information transmitted to us. Of course, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, the Club cannot warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

The Club’s website provides a link to third party sites that are chiefly for the educational use of the boys, their families or directions on getting to the Club.
